What Is Heat Treatment?
Heat treatment is a process required by ISPM-15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) for wooden packaging materials used in international trade. This treatment eliminates pests and pathogens that could be transported across borders.
Our heat treatment facility processes pallets to the required core temperature of 56°C (132.8°F) for a minimum of 30 minutes. Each treated pallet is marked with the official IPPC/ISPM-15 stamp indicating compliance.
